Moving to NE Pennsylvania ... Poconos Region!
After 30 years of exhibiting dogs in Wisconsin, Stardan Kennels is moving to Northeastern
Pennsylvania. Our new home is located on 35 acres just outside of Montrose. This is in the
Pocono Plateau Region. We own a part of a mountain, 1/2 is pasture and flatland and there is even
a pond on it with a creek. Also included on the property is a horse barn and a vacation home, which
we can use as a guest house. Visits are welcome!

Montrose with the population of 2900 is alot different from Green Bay, WI.
We are looking forward to moving around March 17th or so.

The house is set up about a quarter of a mile off the road, so we have some privacy and safety
features for the dogs, with plenty of area to run. The backyard comes complete with wild turkeys,
and the pond is said to have a family of beavers in the area.

Plans are to have a grooming business out of the house and we will be building a newer kennel building
come spring thaw. We will have plenty of room for handling clients dogs as well.

Well, all moved in and having fun. We just started our grooming buisness and it's booming! Our puppies are here but look at upcomming litters for more info.

Reason for leaving
Dave was offered a transfer from his employer, Proctor & Gamble. With all of the asistance the company has offered, made this opportunity very tempting. While we will miss all of our friends from the Midwest... we are prepared to make anadventure of our move!

The kids are all excited, and have indicated that bribes will be accepted.Justin is holding out for a puppy of his own, andJeremy insists that no one can live on 35 acres without a 4 wheeler to ride up the mountain! Steffany is looking forward to having Zip live on the property, and will be moving in June when school lets out.

The best thing is that there is a second home on the property, formerly used as a vacation home, we are hoping that our friends will feel free to come and visit and you can stay in the "guesthouse". We have not checked out the property yet due to the blizzard, if it is more rustic, we can send the kids to go camp out while you stay with us. Please feel free to give us a call. We are only 100 miles for New York City.

Be it ever so humble, there is no place like home!
