Not to be outdone....here is the rest of my showing family
Showing and handling is truly a family activity and each of the kids has tried there expertise at showing. This is by there own choice and each child has the opportunity to choose a dog to show of their own. Each of the kids has had there fill of kennel chores and assisting me at handling my dogs when needed. Here are some of the special moments of the younger members of the Jahnke family...

Steffany Jahnke and Wyndcrest's Two Times The Money
Steffany has been showing her new dog Cash. She was #6 Top Juniors handler in the US in 1999 while showing her brother's dog, Hunter. Steffany has put a 3 point major on Cash to date.  Cash hasn't turned out the way we had liked, so for the time being he is a pampered as a pet in MA. She presently is my kennel assistant and often assists other handlers if scheduling conflicts arise.

Ryan Jahnke with Ch.Wyndcrest Fortune Hunter
Ryan started exhibiting dogs when he was 4. He finished his first dog, a Tibetan Terrier when heturned 6. He finished Hunter's championship when he turned 9. Ryan worked as my handler assistant and pointed many dogs. He also assisted Carlos Puig as a catch handler at numerous shows. Ryan was in the Top 10 Dachshund Juniors. He now flies and received his Pilot's license when he turned 17. He attends Iowa State and majors in Aerospace Engineering where he is on the Dean's List with Highest Honors.

Justin Jahnke and Ch. Wyndcrest Fortune Hunter
Justin has a true love of dogs and like his brother and sister could not wait to get in the ring. Here he is pictured at his first show at the tender age of 4 with Hunter, who always had patience for the little mistakes yet, taught each of the kids what it was like to show and be successful in the ring.

Steffany with Am Can Ch.Stardan's Amaretto of Anadyr
Steffany always takes the opportunity to show different breeds when it lends itself. Here she wins one of many Best Junior Handler Awards at the GMSF Specialty under Breeder/Judge John Ronald. Steffany and Amy always made a great team in Juniors at the Sammy Specialties and often won Best Juniors while learning and improving her handling techniques.

Justin and Gabby

Justin has been showing Gabby in the Breed and in Junior Showmanship. Together, they have obtained 10 points towards her championship and a Best of Breed from the classes. He has received a number of junior placements as well. Look for them in the ring!
